Welcome to Harlequin Hounds Dachshunds

We are a small, MDBA-registered breeder based in Queensland. What started as a lifelong love for animals has grown into a passionate breeding program dedicated to producing quality Dachshunds that are healthy, well-tempered, and true to the breed standard.

With a background as a Qualified Veterinary Nurse and Professional Dog Trainer, and over 15 years of experience showing cattle, horses, and chickens, I bring both knowledge and care to every aspect of raising our dogs. Each of our Dachshunds is a beloved family member, raised in a loving home, well socialised, and nurtured to become confident, affectionate companions.

Our dogs, are the heart of our program, each representing the type, temperament, and soundness we strive to produce. Every litter is carefully planned with the goal of improving the breed, ensuring our puppies are not only beautiful but also healthy, happy, and ready to join families who will love them as much as we do.
